Frozen distribution splits into two tiers: -18°C for standard frozen food and meat, and -20°C or lower for ice cream and premium seafood, where any temperature excursion is visible to the customer.
Pull-down time matters more than holding temperature
Any insulated box will hold temperature once it is cold. The difference between a cheap box and a good one shows up in how fast it pulls down from ambient after loading, and how well it recovers after each door opening. That is a function of refrigeration capacity relative to box volume — a 1400 W system on a 1000L box recovers far faster than a 900 W system on the same box.
Model selection
- SR-C10 — 1000L, -10°C. Short frozen routes where deep freeze is not required.
- SR-C25 — 1000L, -20°C, R404a. Ice cream and deep-frozen seafood.
- FP25 — 1310L, -18°C, 48V/60V. Bulk frozen delivery on tricycles and light vehicles.
- HG-1000L / LG-1000L — FRP bodies where weight matters more than impact resistance.
Loading frozen cargo into a box at ambient temperature will cost you the first hour of the route. Run the box down to setpoint at the depot — it is the single biggest operational improvement most operators can make.
Discuss a frozen food and ice cream configuration
Send the cargo, the route and the temperature requirement, and we will recommend a box and an EXW price.
